Chapter History
The Gamma Delta chapter of Delta Gamma was first founded by six young women at Montana State University in 1948. The chapter ultimately relinquished its Delta Gamma charter in June 1991 after facing declining interest in Fraternity and Sorority life overall. In 2019, the Gamma Delta chapter was officially re-installed by Fraternity President Wilma Johnson Wilbanks, Alpha Psi-Mississippi.
Currently, the chapter has 95 initiated members. Annually, the chapter hosts numerous Delta Gamma Foundation fundraisers such as a Fall Festival and Anchorweek. The women of our chapter value fostering high ideals of friendship among women, promoting educational and cultural interests, uplifting a sense of true social responsibility, and developing the best qualities of character.
